This is definitely a very late entry due to my too-busy schedule in the lab. Anyhow, better late than never as the saying goes. Okinawa Island is the Hawaii of Japan. Most things were similar to Hawaii except for the language (of course, Japanese is the spoken language), no hoo-la-hu (sexy long haired women doing Hawaiian-version belly dancing dressed only with the coconut shell on their front top and flamboyant sexy skirt (do they call that skirt). However, Okinawa is a a haven for good and cheaper foods as compared to the mainland Japan. You can buy many things especially those imported from Taiwan and neighborhood China. So to those of you who are tired of the hustle bustle of city life, catch the next plane and stay in the beautiful delights of Okinawa Island, Japan.
